Currently, EDF Renewables is seeking for its International Division a

ENERGY STORAGE PROJECT MANAGER (M/F)

You will undertake some of the responsibilities, tasks and duties listed below:

1. Lead and manage storage or hybrid projects with merchant and contracted revenue streams, potentially in collaboration with local entities of EDFR, while ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget.
2. Collaborate with all internal stakeholders including financial, dispatch modelling, technical, insurance, legal or tax teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
3. Structure project routes to market including merchant revenue stacking and/or contracted component, in accordance with EDFR hedging risk policy.
4. Identify risks and define associated management strategies including deep analysis on market design and regulation.
5. If relevant, look for local partners/investors and structure partnership agreements.
6. Coordinate project activities, ensuring effective communication and alignment among team members and stakeholders.
7. Identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may impact project delivery.
8. Manage project documentation, including project charters, schedules, and reports.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and quality assurance processes.
10. Support bid submission and/or prepare decision-making processes: investment committees, financial close, start of construction.
11. Analyze the international storage / hybrid market to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges
12. 5-10 years of project management and/or business finance in renewable energy
13. Master’s Degree in Engineering or Finance
14. Proven experience in business development, preferably in the storage / energy sector
15. In-depth knowledge of electricity markets, including market structures, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.
16. In-depth knowledge of the international storage market, including key players, trends, and regulations.
17. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence potential stakeholders.
18. Strong analytical skills to assess business opportunities and associated risks.
19. Ability to work independently and within a team
20. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
21. Open-minded attitude, with the initiative to identify and contribute to tasks beyond immediate scope of responsibilities
22. Entrepreneurial spirit, combined with a structured mindset, attention to detail and project management skills
23. A positive "can-do" attitude with a flexible approach to work
