In a challenging and multicultural environment, we seek a motivated and skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Analytics team. Data Analytics team is responsible of a portfolio of solutions for various business lines of the bank (Risk, Finance, Compliance, Trade Finance, etc). Data Analytics team deliver solutions primarily based on Microsoft Business Intelligence stack with a focus on performance and reliability. We are evolving and adopting new data technology as per the bank data strategy.
Responsibilities
You report to Data Analytics team head of DEC.
Role of Data Engineer encompasses :
Develop and implement techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
Apply data mining, data modelling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
Visualize, interpret, and report data findings and may create dynamic data reports as well.
Maintain existing BI solutions / ETL pipelines and propose continuous improvements
Communicate and collaborate with architects, stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to gather requirements and define technical solution
Ability to design appropriate solution in compliant to CACIB standards
Develops detailed technical work plans, estimates, improvement plans and status reports
Perform regular peer-reviews, maintain low technical debts, assess & up-skill junior staffs
Ensure the respect of CACIB code of conduct and compliance rules within the team
Contribute to initiatives managed at department level (continuous improvement, innovation)
