As a Robotics Systems Engineer (Robots/ Cobots, AGV, AMR) within our Global Manufacturing Systems & Automation team, you’ll lead the development and implementation of robotics and automation strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs. The specialist evaluates and integrates new technologies, ensuring standardization and alignment with business objectives. This position is crucial for enhancing manufacturing processes and achieving business targets through continuous improvement and advanced automation solutions.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the development and implementation of robotics and automation strategies (e.g., Robots, Cobots, AGVs) to optimize production efficiency, enhance quality, and reduce costs
- Manage Lead transversally cross-functional teams responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of industrial robotic systems
- Evaluate and select appropriate robotics technologies, ensuring their seamless integration into the Sanofi site network
- Collaborate with various functions to align robotics initiatives with the overall business strategy
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in industrial robotic systems, staying ahead of industry trends
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols in implementing robotics solutions
- Support the transformation of multiple sites by developing and implementing multi-year strategic plans for robotics
About you
Experience:
- Proven expertise & experience in applied robotics and complex systems, with a strong focus on factory automation technologies and innovative solutions
Soft and Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and design effective robotics and automation solutions
- Leadership and collaboration skills, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams
- Strategic vision and planning abilities, with experience in financial management being a plus
Education:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Robotics, or a related field relevant to the biopharmaceutical sector
Languages:
- Fluency in English and French is required. Proficiency in other languages is a plus, especially for managing multi-regional projects
