YOUR FUTURE ENVIRONMENT
We are in an exciting period of new opportunities in Europe. We are strengthening our international team and have recently open several position to work within our EIFFAGE Infrastructure branch EIFFAGE Norge, based in Porsgrunn, Norway.
Eiffage Norge is the main contractor for the E18 Langangen-Rugtvedt highway. The project is a 4-lane 18km long highway including 3 bridges and 2 mains twin’s tunnels (Bjonnas Tunnel 2.5km and Grenland Tunnel 5.1km). It started in January 2021 and will run until end 2025.
You will join a dynamic team in Norway with a potential of long-term assignment in Scandinavia.
YOUR MAIN TASKS
You will be responsible for all aspects related to the delivery of the Roadworks (pavement, crashbarriers, vertical signalization,...) and M&E (along the entire project, open-day andtunnels), including the testing and commissioning, until the final Take-Over by the Client. You will ensure coordination with the technical department for issues related to your scope.In close coordination with the H&S Manager, you will ensure a pro-active cooperation on sitebetween the safety advisers and the production team.
Reporting to the Project Director:
1. Overall responsibility for delivering his scope of work in a safe way, within program and budget, ensuring the quality of the permanent works in conformity with the contractual requirements.
2. Member of the project management committee
3. Jointly with the Project Director, contribute to developing the appropriate safety culture on site. Through leadership and exemplarity, promote a genuine commitment to safety from all personnel involved in construction activities whether direct employees or subcontractors' personnel. Ensure pro-active cooperation between the H&S dept and his production teams.
4. Monitor the development of the design and ensure the appropriate coordination between designers (internal or external) and his production teams (internal or subcontractors), particularly the interfaces between his scope and "Civils" and "Tunnels & Earthworks". Ensure that buildability/construction methodology are considered within the design. Ensure that design delivery meets construction program.
5. Lead the procurement process for his scope of work. Liaise with the procurement manager placed under the responsibility of the Civil Works Manager on all relevant matters.
6. Define the organization chart of his construction team. Liaise with the HR dept to organize the mobilization and demobilization of the personnel.
7. Ensure coordination and follow-up of the construction activities to ensure they meet the contractual milestones.
8. Own the budget for his scope of work. Together with the cost controller, establish a follow-up structure that ensures easy to understand monthly cost control review and monthly updates of the "estimated at completion" budget. Monitor the costs and develop action plans whenever deviations occur.
9. Define the means necessary for the supervision of the Testing and Commissioning that will mainly be carried out by Traftec.
10. Interface with the Client and all relevant Third-Parties to prepare the final stages of the project: "Site Acceptance Test", "Users' Acceptance Test" and Take-Over.
