Job Description

This position will report to a Principal or designee level staff member. You will be involved in projects that may include:

• Forensic investigations of structural failures
• Qualification and testing of buildings, structures, equipment and systems for a variety of loads
• Design, development and rollout of field and laboratory systems, structures and equipment
• Instrumentation, data acquisition and analysis of equipment and structures
• Advanced analysis of equipment, systems and structures using finite element codes
• Materials engineering and evaluations
• Peer reviews
• Evaluation and repair of existing structures
• Dispute resolution including assistance with expert witness assignments
• Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager

Qualifications

• Minimum Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Aero/Astro, Nuclear, or Structural Engineering
• Familiarity with structural dynamics and structural analysis preferred
• Structural design experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, with ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings to obtain security clearances
• Ability to travel to customer or project sites (light travel required)
