Vous évoluerez dans une équipe R&D étroitement liée aux activités Gypse, Isolation et Mortier de Saint-Gobain. Les ambitions d’innovation de ces filiales ont notamment pour but de diminuer l’empreinte environnementale de la construction. Vos projets de recherche comporteront des problématiques de formulation de matériaux cimentaires ou de gypse, ainsi que de l’adjuvantation afin de leur conférer des propriétés spécifiques lors leur mise en œuvre ou à plus long terme.

Vous étudierez l’utilisation de tels matériaux dans le cadre de nouveaux modes constructifs ou à l’échelle de systèmes. Vous travaillerez sur la formulation des matériaux et leur caractérisation (rhéologie, mécanique, thermique). Vous travaillerez en laboratoire et en collaboration avec des .s de recherche, mais aussi à des échelles plus larges (essais de terrain, sur d’autres sites SG) : des déplacements de courte durée sont à prévoir en France et à l’étranger. L’encadrement fera partie de vos missions.

Votre rejoindrez une équipe jeune et dynamique, au sein d’un centre de recherche transversal porté par des valeurs de confiance, de collaboration et de responsabilisation. Vous collaborerez à l’international, discuterez étroitement avec les filiales clientes et gérerez des projets en termes de budgets et de planification.

You will work in an R&D team closely linked to Saint-Gobain's Gypsum, Insulation and Mortar activities. The innovation ambitions of these subsidiaries aim to reduce the environmental footprint of construction. Your research projects will include issues of formulating cementitious or gypsum materials, as well as adjuvants to give them specific properties during their implementation or in the longer term.

You will be required to study the use of such materials in the context of new construction methods or on a systems scale. You will work on the formulation of materials and their characterization (rheology, mechanics, thermal). You will work in the laboratory and in collaboration with research technicians, but also on larger scales (field tests, on other SG sites) : short trips are to be expected in France and abroad. Supervision will be part of your missions.

You will evolve in a young and dynamic team, within a transversal research center driven by values of trust, collaboration and accountability. You will collaborate internationally, discuss closely with customers and manage projects in terms of budgets and planning.

1. Doctorat en physico-chimie des matériaux.
2. Vous êtes à l’aise pour travailler à l’interface entre la chimie (polymères/inorganique, adjuvantation) et la physique (matière molle, rhéologie, mécanique).
3. Vous manifestez un goût prononcé pour le travail expérimental, la formulation et les procédés, et vous savez communiquer avec aisance sur des sujets techniques ou organisationnels, en français comme en anglais.
4. Des compétences en programmation (Python) sont un plus.
