We are looking for a Head of Presales to lead the presales team in the Strategic Business Unit Digital Services.
The PreSales Engineer is a critical technical resource, partnering with sales teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs. This role combines deep technical expertise, strategic communication, and a customer-focused approach to support the sales cycle and delivery of the product/solution.
The PreSales Engineer ensures successful technical engagement by demonstrating products, conducting proofs of concept, and offering in-depth knowledge of the organization's solutions and their alignment with customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the team to ensure that the presales deliver high quality technical offers during the bid process.
2. Setup the processes and tools used to follow these processes according to company defined processes.
3. Support the development of the technical pre-sales team, lead the technical offer building for the Group, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to increase collective efficiency and smooth internal interfaces.
4. Assign technical pre-sales to offers during the sales process defined on the group level.
5. Ensure each technical pre-sale follows training (technical, sales oriented, etc.) to be at the expected level required by the pre-sales position.
Mission 1:
1. Ensure that your presales team will be able to provide pre-sales technical expertise and support to the sales team and customers during the sales process.
2. Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements, challenges, and objectives, as well as identifying and classifying leads and additional sales opportunities with existing customers.
3. Develop and present tailored solutions, including system architectures and technical roadmaps, to meet customer needs, ensuring compelling, audience-specific technical presentations that communicate value and capabilities of the products/solutions.
4. Design, build, and execute effective demonstrations and PoCs to validate proposed solutions.
5. Take ownership and provide the technical input into bid proposals, bid-defence meetings, projects, and other documentation, throughout the sales process.
6. Ensure a seamless handover of technical solutions to post-sales implementation teams for successful delivery.
Mission 2:
1. Collaborate with leadership in engineering, operations, and delivery teams to align products and solutions with customer feedback and business priorities.
2. Assist in the development of sales strategies by identifying additional sales opportunities during the pre-sales phase.
3. Support internal and external stakeholders by sharing expertise and assist in training on products and technologies.
4. Participate in customer workshops, events, and other forums to strengthen relationships and understand market trends.
5. Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the organization's and competitors' products and/or services in order to advise customers and the sales team effectively.
Profiles required:
1. Experience in team management and pre-sales, or similar role.
2. Knowledge in relevant technology: PKI, CMS, MFA, SSO, Cloud services, Docker, Identity Federation, Mobile Identity, Mifare DESfire, JIRA, Microsoft Office.
3. Management, animation, and leadership skills.
4. Strategic vision and ability to deploy transformation initiatives.
5. Ability to qualify a technical need and present arguments that will win the customer's decision.
6. Ability to work effectively on several projects at the same time and handle pressure.
7. Persuasive, with excellent interpersonal skills and customer-oriented.
8. Ability to work in English and French.
