As part of our continuous improvement policy, we are looking for a Category Manager H/F based at our Bousbecque site (20 minutes from Lille).
We offer you the following main tasks :
1. Build trusted category partnerships with key retail customers
2. Proactively deliver compelling shopper/Customer/Competitor research and insights
3. Develop insightful category solutions and recommendations to generate growth and opportunities
4. Influence Category Performance Reviews and Range Reviews
5. Lead Shopper Marketing and Activation activities, delivering ROI
6. Ownership for internal/external reporting and analysis to support Sales and Leadership teams (shopper behaviors, market trends, consumer insights, pricing architectures)
7. Aid the development and execution of category/channel/brand strategies
8. Provide customer/shopper feedback and insights internally to result in improved customer understanding, strategic development
9. Support marketing and product management in customer-led product development with an influential role when concerning Group NPD activities, to ensure positioning is appropriate for French and Benelux Market
10. Manage internal and external data sources, relationships and contracts (Nielsen, Kantar, GfK, etc.)
Profile required :
1. 10/15 years’ experience in Category Management in FMCG
2. Excellent analytical skills with a ability to translate data into insight
3. Proficient with Nielsen, GfK and Kantar data and reporting.
4. Experience IGD, Mintel, Euromonitor and other data agencies
5. Knowledge of retailer systems an advantage
