Our client is a global platform that simplifies all buying and selling needs related to travel for its partners worldwide. Offering a comprehensive range of products including flights, hotels, trains, vacation packages, car rentals, transfers, sightseeing tours, cruises, and freight, the company is a key player in the travel sector.
RECRUITMENT CONTEXT :
Our client is looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team. This role will focus on maintaining and developing relationships with clients, as well as supporting them in using the platform's tools.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
As a Key Account Manager, your main responsibilities will include :
- Onboarding and Training : Welcome and train new partners on the B2B platform, while boosting their confidence in using the tools provided.
- Relationship Development and Maintenance : Ensure the continuation of existing business by developing strong commercial and personal relationships with partners at all levels, and negotiating commercial and financial terms.
- Client Acquisition : Identify and seize new opportunities to meet the team's sales goals.
- On-Site Visits and Webinars : Conduct on-site visits at least 4 days per week to support agents, organize training sessions or webinars, and introduce new products to drive sales.
- Performance Analysis : Monitor the performance of clients and the team on a daily basis using BI tools to achieve improved results.
- Issue Coordination : Collaborate with the support team to resolve issues quickly.
- Regular Reporting : Provide regular reports to the regional manager on team performance and activities.
PROFILE SOUGHT :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the travel industry (similar position). A solid network with travel agents in Barcelona is essential.
- Ability to analyze data and use BI tools effectively.
- Ambitious, autonomous, results-oriented with excellent commercial communication skills.
- Solid B2B negotiation and sales management experience.
- Proven success in local sales development, ideally with an online travel platform, Bedbank, or SaaS solutions provider in the travel industry.
- Proven track record in sales and success within the local travel industry.
- Quick adaptability to new technologies, products, and procedures.
- Willingness to travel regularly as part of the job.
- Full proficiency in English and the local language (Spanish).
SALARY AND BENEFITS :
- Average base salary between €38,000 and €42,000, negotiable depending on experience + highly attractive performance-based bonus.
