Scope of Activities

To carry out some or all of the following activities:

Coordinate the teams

* Organize and coordinate the work of your team by implementing a proximity management system
* Ensure the implementation and application of quality, safety, environment, security and employment code rules
* Ensure the cleanliness of all preparation, shipping and storage areas
* Contribute to human resources management (training, induction, vacations, annual appraisals, etc.)

Inspect logistics activities

* Organize the arrival and reception of goods
* Manage goods locations and storage
* Ensure correct order preparation
* Manage preparation areas and ensure on-time shipment
* Alert and ensure that regular checks and inspections are made

Manage stocks

* Ensure compliance with warehousing rules
* Contribute to the process of organizing inventories
* Check that stock levels are correct

Implement the resources required to achieve the targets set

* Organize your team(s) to suit the activity concerned
* Assist operators by providing them with instructions and explanations in the event of problems
* Carry out regular visual checks of team progress
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Interact with customers and/or suppliers
* Report all anomalies, productivity variances, technical problems, etc. to your line manager
* Complete the dashboard of indicators for the activity
* Produce activity and results reports for your scope of responsibility.

Take responsibility for the KPI performance of your department

* Lead and manage a team, ensuring that employee skills are developed in line with business developments and the needs of the organization

The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training.

From school leavers to those with 2 years’ further education in logistics or equivalent professional experience.
