Your ‘day to day’

Conduct financial accounting activities for the Legal entity Philip Morris France. Monitor the production of the Statutory financial statements in French GAAP and other related activities.

More specifically, you'll
- Supervise and conduct regular accounting activities for the French affiliate
- Lead monthly end closing and yearly end closing activities, including shareholder meeting preparation and yearly profit sharing
- Monitor local statutory financial statements Provide the necessary accounting documents to external advisors for the completion of financial statutory statements
- Perform necessary review of financial documents and ensure proper approval workflows. Support any adhoc audits (including tax audits)
- Track differences between US GAAP and French GAAP
- Develop financial accounting role for the French affiliate collaborating with the PMI different accounting/treasury/purchasing shared functions
- Ensure SOX controls in accounting area and perform financial conformity review of affiliate contracts
- Lead the financial forecast of the affiliate as per PMI planning
- Leverage on the current setting Finance Operating Model for accounting, with supervision of activities done at shared services.

Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance / Accounting, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years experience in audit firm or other international companies in financial and accounting areas. Demonstrated experience with US and French GAAP, SOX-Controlling
- Sound engagement skills to ensure cross-functional collaboration internally with management, regions, markets and shared service centers, as well as supervision of external vendors working on financial statement/audit
- Proficient with Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken).
