Our team

Join Amadeus as an apprentice and help ensure top-notch data quality in our core Passenger Name Record (PNR) Lake. This critical data asset supports a wide range of products, including our anti-fraud solutions. Your work will involve building and improving data quality frameworks, detecting anomalies, and contributing to a secure, robust data ecosystem.

Role Overview

As an apprentice in our data team, you will play a key role in improving the quality and reliability of our data. You will collaborate with engineers and analysts to build scalable frameworks, ensuring data integrity and supporting key business applications.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our data engineering team, you will:

1/ Data Quality & Validation:
-
Implement data quality checks and validations with tools like Deequ, using Python, Scala, Spark, Azure, and Databricks.

2/ Monitoring & Anomaly Detection:
-
Develop automated monitoring pipelines to identify shifts in data and detect anomalies.

3/ Tool Evaluation & Integration:
-
Research and integrate the best technologies to enhance data quality (e.g., Deequ, cloud services).

4/ Collaboration & Documentation:
-
Work closely with engineering and analytics teams, providing clear technical documentation and guidance.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate:
-
Is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Has familiarity with data engineering, ETL, Spark, and cloud platforms.

Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Has good communication skills and the ability to simplify complex topics.
