Context
• In 2024, the Industrial Solutions & Projects Business Group will separate from the Nexans Group to become an independent company.
• Our future company, which will become a reality at the end of 2024, boasts double-digit growth, prospects for expansion in sectors at the heart of the energy and industrial transition, with an international presence close to our customers.
• We manufacture and design cables and complex solutions for our industrial customers. With a balanced presence between Western Europe and Asia, and recent investments in Poland and the United States, our human-scale company is a local player with a global reach.
• Over the course of this year, we will be working together to define our identity, values and working methods in line with our culture, our size and our ambitions, while building on our century-old industrial culture, the solidity of our technical skills and our proximity to our customers. Speed, responsiveness, simplicity and pragmatism will be at the heart of our approach.
• As part of our separation, we need to set up our own support teams for the central functions: Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Purchasing and Legal. More than 50 positions are being created to form new, autonomous teams.
• Given the innovative nature of our approach, and our desire to completely redefine our support needs and imperatives, each of these new positions offers a unique opportunity to have a direct and visible impact on the future of our company.
Objectives
• Ability to work in a VUCA environment (M&A in progress, implementation of new way of executing compared to the past)
• Involved in multi-business activities
• Support to Business
• Deliver accurate data on a timely basis
• Continuous improvement on all processes
• Make sure the supporting documentation is centralized and well shared through the team
• Management of large and structural projects at Group level
Area of responsibilities
Under the direction of Group Treasurer
• FX and Metal Back Office
• Match hedging transactions
• Daily import of market rates to price metal transactions in ERP
• Monthly closing and organization of settlements to banks / brokers
• Market rates integration follow-up
• Support for daily and monthly operations, including
• Payment management (suppliers, payroll, taxes, etc.) – support for local treasurers
• Follow-up of debt and interests repayments
• Cash pooling management
• Intercompany advances and loans follow-up, including interests payments
• Monthly closing
• Treasury (debt and cash report, credit lines, guarantees …), and metal reportings
• Consolidation of entities reporting
• Process and internal control
• Fraud prevention through the implementation of tools, procedures, and/or appropriate controls
• Management of treasury tools: SAP and web-banking platforms and interfaces if needed
• Set up and monitoring of documentation with banks (eg KYC)
• Process optimization and participation to transformation projects (implementation of digital solutions, automation of customer reconciliations, automatic reconciliations, etc.)
• Communication with external auditors when needed
Required skills and qualification
• Tools: SAP, BO, Excel, PPT, web-banking platforms
• Strong interpersonal skills, good listening, and teamwork
• Rigor and autonomy
• Dynamism, responsiveness, and agility
• Proficiency in SAP and Connexis Cash is a plus
• You already implemented a TMS in a previous professional experience
• Fluent in English
