The Role & What You Will BE Doing
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here's how the Global Program Managerrole will make an impact :
- Support effective global Project Team meetings that provide a forum for communication, removing obstacles and resolving issues.
- Ensure meeting deliverables and agreements are caried out.
- May lead the team development of the project timeline and budget.
- Maintain, monitor and report project progress and perform updates to timelines and budget.
- Communicate to ensure team members understand and are aligned with project goal and objectives, project plan, critical path and potential critical path activities.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and to agreed upon quality.
- Coordinate and compile global project scope documents and plans.
- Work with project team members to assure that the sub-teams are aligned and that functions are applying resources as necessary to accomplish the sub-teams' goals. Impacts the achievement of project activities.
- Work with project team to identify project risks and create mitigation plans.
- Raise potential issues to Project Team Leader and Team for resolution.
- Develop and implement Integrated Development Plan to support the approve Project Strategy.
- Ensure alignment of functional goals with relevant Project Team Goals. Includes relevant PT goals in individual goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we're looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences :
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent). PMP certification a plus but not required.
- Must possess knowledge of pharmaceutical development programs including basic understanding of clinical and cmc development, commercial principles and health authority requirements.
- Must possess Project Management skills such as development of timelines, identification of critical path, budget management, pharmaceutical risk analysis and mitigation, strong communication skills, driver of team activity required.
- Position functions semi-autonomously.
- Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence. Ability to work with managers or directors and communicate ambiguous concepts. Ability to present to groups across the organization.
- Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis. Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.
- Ability to perform computations such as percentages, ratios, and rates.
- Typically sitting at a desk or table. Intermittently sitting, standing, walking or stooping. Periodic travel is required.
- May BE required to stand; walk; stoop; bend; kneel; and climb steps. May require use of hands and use of arms. Sedentary lifting requirements.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
