MISSIONS

Smulders is looking for one Facilities and Maintenance Manager.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to General Manager of Production of Smulders Wallsend :

Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water, drainage and heating, are well-maintained.

Managing maintenance and staffing budgets.

Ensuring that facilities meet government legislation, regulations and health and safety standards.

Overseeing building projects and renovations.

Developing maintenance budgets, hiring maintenance crew and negotiating vendor contracts

Controlling, monitoring and developing stock inventories

Coordinating work performed by outside vendors

Manage the repair and maintenance of 60+ MEWPs

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications :

Master degree in mechanic

Experiences :

At least 3 year’s Experience on a similar position

Skills :

English mandatory

Technical understanding of electrical, mechanic and hydraulic systems for planning and troubleshooting including legislation

Proficiency operating modern maintenance technology, including ERP and CRM systems

Good verbal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to translate complex information.

Should be experienced in leading a team (1 to 40 persons)
