Lean Manager will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of LEAN methodologies and standards for the line of business Contract Logistics. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, measure performance, and achieve strategic objectives aligned with company goals.
The main missions are :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive LEAN strategy for warehousing operations to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Align LEAN initiatives with organizational objectives and customer expectations.
- Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas of waste within warehousing operations.
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other LEAN tools to achieve measurable improvements.
- Lead, manage, and facilitate the Global CL LEAN Community animations and objectives
- Provide training and coaching on LEAN principles and tools to regional LEAN leaders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee empowerment.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of LEAN initiatives.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for further improvement.
- Report progress and results to senior leadership, recommending adjustments as needed.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, logistics, and other departments to integrate LEAN principles.
- Collaborate with external vendors and customers to align processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of LEAN methodologies.
- Ensure all LEAN initiatives are implemented in compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
- Promote a safety-first culture through continuous evaluation and improvement of processes.
