The Group Strategy Manager’s mission is to support the strategic agenda of the Group bo in terms of the strategic planification & governance, as well as, investigating emerging strategic topics in coordination with the strategic teams of the different business lines.
YOUR ROLE
You will be part of the team of 5 people, dedicated to Strategy, Innovation and Transformation.
Your key responsibilities will be split on:
1. Contributing to the Strategic Planning and Governance
- Drive the Group strategic agenda, in particular through managerial governance, i.e. the Quarterly Management Meeting (QMM), the General Management Committee (GMC) and the Group Convention, in collaboration with the Communication team for all the logistics and event-related organization
- Support the Financial communication team to build strategic materials discussed with investors
- Coordinate the process of the annual strategic 3-year plan session at Group level and optimize year on year its efficiency
2. Managing the competitive intelligence on all of our markets
- Establish and maintain a competitive watch framework to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics
- Prepare Group bi-weekly newsletter and GEC (Group Executive Committee) reports on our key competitors’ move and extract so what for Edenred activities
- Coordinate with BLs to identify the more value-added topics and maximize the efficiency of the different communication streams
3. Supporting the Group on emerging strategic topics in coordination with the Business Lines
- Conduct ad-hoc strategic studies for the EVP Strategy and the CEO. Examples of recent studies:
o Third-party partnerships in enriching client solutions
o SaaS operational and performance KPIs
o Merchant value-added services
o Gifting value proposition
- Support M&A team and BL in conducting strategic due diligences
- Coordinate with BL and regional/country strategic teams to aggregate data and analyses at Group level (ex. market penetration, market share, number of users / clients / merchants, key operating KPIs)
4. Contributing on large transformation projects
- Support any large transformation projects at Group level in strong coordination with the concerned functions (examples of past transformational projects: switch to a product-line oriented organization, data target operating model, cost optimization, support function verticalization)
- Structure the approach and build the business case and the potential scenarios by leveraging internal expertise but also external advisory and benchmarks
- Bring and support the topic to leadership management in senior meetings with GEC members (Group Executive Committee)
YOUR PROFILE
- Professional experience
* Required: 5 years of experience in strategy consulting
* Plus: exposure to B2B software and tech, with HR, Mobility or Fintech sectors is a plus
Education : Master of Science, Master of Business Administration or equivalent
- Technical skills
* Strong oral and written communication

* Mastering all Office suite tools (Excel, Powerpoint, …)
